Learn to be brave, learn to depend to yourself more

Two days before we return to Malaysia, my brother took me to walk to this one mall named Ramayana. There are a variety of options and big sales because at that time it was almost a week already raya so they try to finish their stock by such giving a big sale. However, for this post I'm not going to tell you about the sales but, I want to tell you about something that I saw while on my way to the mall and I feel very impressive and glad to saw such a thing.

So this is what I told you just now. Indonesian primary school children story that I saw when we passed the road infront of one primary school in the area. If you look at the picture carefully, you will find that the students wear gunny bags. At first I was very surprised because all the students that came out of that school wearing the same bags (gunny bag). Then I asked my brother "What is going on now? Why do all the students wear that kind of bag, like they have better bags to wear kot?" The my brother explained. After listening to his explanation I finally understand and feel so proud with those students.

Wearing a gunny bag, hat like the new graduated students made use of manila card and spirit words hang of the neck as an example of "The objective I got into SD is because I want ..." and many more is because of one purpose which is they are given training in order not to feel shy, be brave and have the high confident level on the first day of school when they going to primary school or secondary school stage. This is a very good idea to practice the students managed to talk in proper way and have the self-esteem. I guess it is a good story to share from that we can some moral value of being from them. So let us learn to be brave guys!! Because at the end, when we have no one to depend on. We should know that relying to ourselves is the only way we can do. Yay I think my post today will stop here see you in the next episode hehe byeee xoxo

Because of a horrified tragedy, Acheh became a story

Annyeong guysss !!! So how's your raya so far? So good? This is the fourth day of raya, so grateful my eid days so far going very exciting. Happy in discovering Medan, now our family decided to visit my aunty which is my mom's young sister in Acheh. I am very excited because this is the first time I set my foot in Acheh. As we know, once time ago in 26 December 2004 it has become a nightmare for all of us because of horrific tragedy Tsunami that caused a lot of property and the environment destroyed. Not enough with that, the most sad thing is there are alot of the loss lives at that time. Cut to a short story, it was a tragedy that is horrific and scary history ever happened where we all will never be able to forget.

So to Acheh we go. We are all taken to walk to the town of Acheh on the second day we arrived. City named Lhoksamawe a very nice place and we all got the chance to visit the beach of the place

It is a nice beach and what make it different with the other beaches is here they were stacking rocks on their shoreline. Not so sure what is their purpose of doing so but my brother told us since tsunami that hit them, they started preparing the stone as a barrier of strong waves flow. Yet, as my mom said whatever we do if Allah wants it to happen, no matter how hard we tried to avoid it or block things will still happens. Because what? Allah is the creator. Right??

Besides the beach, there is another thing that attract my attention there is a Bank Aceh. This is a little unique because in Malaysia we have no bank for state such as Perak's Bank, Kelantan's Bank and else right? Haha. If you don't believe me take a look to this.

Nice kan?? If we have that in Malaysia, we might be racist between one bank and another I think haha. I guess my post will stop here and if you want to know more about Acheh why dont you come to Acheh and see all the sights and beauty of Acheh. It is a beautiful place serious!! Visit Acheh okay? Byee xoxo

We are the same Asian people, but the way we live it might be different

Holla! So for this post I would like to share with you a little bit about the culture of Indonesia that I guess it is a good thing to story. As we knows, even though Indonesia and Malaysia sets the same character which both are Islamic and Asia countries, yet there must be differences with how we lives because of their cultural way of life practiced from the first. I was very impressed about the construction of the Indonesian mosque. It is because I found that the construction of a mosque in a residential area of the district was built as a result of its own residents charity collection. This is amazing because, as in the area where I live while in here has more than 3 mosques in such an area that is not too large. Whereas, in Malaysia we only have one mosque each area. And when eid day arrived the mosque will be fulfill with the citizens of that district. Different with Indonesia, their mosques will not really experience the fullness because they have many other mosque choices to perform Eid prayers.

Masjid Nurul Huda, Medan Indonesia.
This mosque is one of the mosques that have in my area house where we stay while in Indonesia. The architecture of mosque here are very beautiful art. Masjid Nurul Huda for example, it was so artfully as though mosques in the Arabian countries.

More encouraging  as I stated earlier that the mosque was built by their donation collection area residents themselves, but they do not do the house-to-house collection or in any other way but through containers made from either wood or something like money box which it is placed on the road, nearby the mosque that would be built used by residents there. Near my place there is two mosque in the process of construction here is one of it.

Cant wait for the completion of the mosque. Not sure how long it takes, half year or a year? Ah, we hope it will be ready when I come back to the this place next year InsyaAllah! So I guess I've talked a lot, hopefully this have add a little knowledge to you about how people build their mosque in Indonesia.Very impressive, if it is practiced in Malaysia not sure if it will run smoothly, worried the money box placed in the way of charity later stolen after a few days. Hmm anyway, prayer is the pole of religion, even if we are having many mosques but so little people using it, what is the point right? Let us together light up our mosque okay! Ah, I am so hungry now. Gonna get some foods to be eaten, so see you again. Byee xoxo

Today is the day

Selamat Hari Raya!!! So its the first day of raya wah! 'Ketupat', 'rendang', 'lontong' (indonesian's food) and all the biscuits already serve on the table. I saw people already started posting their pictures on instagram with their new clothes for eid day. Well as I said in my earlier post that I do not have any new clothes for this raya, so this is my raya clothes (not a new one) that I used to wear for class before. Haha

Eventhough it is not a new one but I am glad and thankful I still have things to wear compared with people outside who went used torn and ripped shirts in this special day. I am so thankful with what I have. Remember to always, always to be thankful. Actually, two days before raya me, my brother, sister and her husband have went to one bazaar in Medan. It was damn big and packed with a lot of people who went there for the same reason, searching for new clothes. Here I leave to you a short video, situation while I been there.

It is even difficult to walk, like I cant walk straight but to side my body struggled with the people at the bazaar. Because of that, I have no intentions and interest at all to buy any clothing. It is a good thing anyway, so that I can save more money to buy foods. Huhu. Because of tired and packed I immediately asked to go back. It's enough at least I can feel how the road busy doing selling during eid season. The situation kinda same with Petaling Street in Malaysia. Not much different. So, we went back. While we walked through the food's area, suddenly I saw this strange food which my sister decided to buy.

At first I dont want to ask but to taste. After tasted, I noticed this is actually sausage that they wrapped with maggie lowh! I only have one bite then I dont feel like to eat it again haha it is not a food we usually eat so my throat cannot really accept the taste. Same goes with "murtabak maggie" in Malaysia, I dont really eat that. I guess I only eaten that twice. The conclusion is I am not maggie's fan, so anything related with maggie I dont really eat. Furthermore, maggie is not really good for health. Better to avoid sick rather than treat right? Those who love to eat maggie my advice is try not to eat that always it is for your health too guys. During raya, also control what you eat. As Muslims, we are just done with Ramadhan so dont (hantam) eat all the foods, later if you fall sick, raya would  not be a nice memory to remember. Okay? Take a good care during raya hopefull everyone having a good time with family members and relations. I am Nik Farzieyana wishing you Happy Eid-Al fitr Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Watch out with me again okay! Bye xoxo

Where is your raya? Where is mine?

Hi all. So what's up? Eid day will come soon!!! Do not tell me that you are not excited? As I know and everyone else knows, this is a great day of day awaited by all Muslims, including myself. Who does not like eid day? No one for sure. When it arrives, people feel excited. Same goes to me and my family. We has the opportunity to shop with our loved ones. Buying new clothes (though this year I have no new clothes for raya), eid biscuits, for mothers they prefer to buy new items for their homes as new curtains, sofa and so on.

But it is a different story with my mom. She wont buy new items for our home but, reuse what already exists every year. Still, every time eid day our house be so beautiful and neat. "I had enough when I was teenagers till adult. At this age I dont need new clothes but celebrate raya with the love ones is all I want" she said. Instead of buying new things, she prefer to save money for a plane ticket to go to Indonesia, because she had a sister lives at that country and prefer to celebrate the feast there than in Kuala Lumpur, where we do not have any family members. Besides that, my mother also have 5 children living there which is my stepbrothers and stepsister. They are my siblings with another father before my mom got married with my dad. They care and love me as I the only child of my mom and dad just like their real young sister.

So today is the day, four days before raya we fly off to Indonesia!! So excited to meet my family members in Medan. I really feel the real meaning of raya when I celebrate it with my relations there. It is totally a different feelings with what I felt when I celebrated eid day 5 years ago in KL. Bored and there is nothing for me to feel special compared with other days.
z

Ready for my flight, fly with firefly. It looks big in picture but it is actually one of small flight in Malaysia. But for me, as long as it can flies who cares it small or big haha what we need is it can bring me to the destination that we want.

We are leaving!! See in another 2 weeks Malaysia, let me tell you how's raya in my following post. While I and mom having time look at this beautiful God's creation (cloud) I believe everyone already busy with the preparation of eid day. Hopefully all are having a good day!! See you in my next post to know more about what I do as I arrive, Byeee xoxo
